Inspired by an idea by red-rum-18, here is my own idea for an evil Lantern team led by Sinestro in nightshade475's DC mangaverse.

In order to distract the majority of the Spectrum Lantern Corps from his activities on Earth with the Legion of Doom, Sin-Es-Tro uses his resources from LightTech to assemble a small but deadly team of intergalactic criminals, and outfit them with reverse-engineered powersuits. Among these "Dark Lanterns" are:

Amon
Color designation: Green
Amon is a master of disguise, wanted on several planets for the murder and impersonation of high-ranking authority figures. Upon joining the Dark Lanterns, he is ordered by Sin-Es-Tro to impersonate the former lantern's deceased brother, Ah-Bin-Sur, to make it appear that he survived the Solar Impact Shell incident and had gone rogue.

Arkillo
Color designation: Yellow
Arkillo was once head of interrogation for the Spectrum Lanterns. Feared by criminals and colleagues alike, his prisoners usually asked to just be given the death sentence rather than facing Arkillo's brutish methods. It was only after Killowog joined the corps that Arkillo was finally called to question by the Guardians for his unorthidox means of interrogation. Found guilty for his actions, he was immediately sentenced to life in prison. However, Arkillo managed to escape, and vowed revenge on Killowog, the Corps, and the Guardians. And with Sinestro's help, he just might accomplish it.

Larfleeze
Color designation: Blue
Among the many stories across the vast reaches of space, one of the most infamous is that of the Orange Serpents, a ruthless gang of thieves who were said to have stolen money and other valuables from over 1000 planets. However, the collective greed and ambition of the entire group was nothing compared to that of their leader, Larfleeze. Rumor has it that after their latest theft, their ship encountered a large serpentine creature the size of an Earth whale. The beast began to swallow the ship whole, with the crew still inside. While attempting to escape, they discovered that all of the escape pods had been launched, except for one. Unfortunately the pod was already occupied by  Larfleeze, who revealed that he had planned to cross paths with the creature, knowing it would devour anything it came across. While the monster was occupied with the ship, he would escape with all of the ill-gotten game for himself, leaving his crew for dead. However, as Larfleeze made his great escape, he noticed something he hadn't accounted for: the creature had a second head! Realizing he wouldn't get away fast enough with his spoils weighing him down, Larfleeze had no choice but to jettison his cargo. Driven mad by his lack of valuable possessions, and no subordinates to help him obtain more, he swore to do whatever it takes to regain his wealth... even working for Sinestro.

Atrocitus
Color designation: Red
Known throughout several galaxies as merciless assassin, Atrocitus' lust for power was pratically unquenchable. So when Sinestro offered him power to rival that of the Spectrum Lantern Corps, Atrocitus was more than eager to accept. But unbeknownst to Sinestro, Atrocitus secretly plans to unlock the secrets of the powersuit technology, to create his own army of death and destruction.

Yrra Cynril
Color designation: Violet
An infamous bounty hunter, whose reputation as one of the fiercest warriors alive has earned her the nickname "Fatality." Despite joining Sinestro's Dark Lanterns for money, she soon comes to revel in her newfound strength and power. Because of this, she often has a lighthearted attitude about her actions, and often mockingly flirts with Green Lantern John Stewart.

Kari Murasaki (Carol Ferris)
Color designation: Pink
A close friend and co-worker of Harinezumi Jouon, and the only member of the Dark Lanterns not to have a criminal record. She was forced to join Sinestro's group by being injected with the mind-altering Despotellis Virus. Sinestro hopes to use Hari's emotional attachment to Kari to his advantage.

-The team's name is a reference to the Dark Lantern, a being Killowog became for a time in the comics.
-Amon is supposed to be the mangaverse version Amon Sur, Abin's son from the comics
-After Sinestro's activities on Earth are discovered, he regroups with his Dark Lanterns, killing Amon and making Arkillo the new Green Lantern of the team.
-Larfleeze being the team's Blue Lantern references his desire in the comics to possess a blue power ring.
-The name of Larfleeze's crew, the Orange Serpents, as well as the giant snake creature, are references to Ophidian, the entity of Greed.
-The Despotellis Virus gets its name from a Sinestro Corps member of the same name.

Esumaru(Ace the Bathound)-On a particularly dark and eerie night, Catwoman engages in her usual criminal activity in order to get Batman's attention.  Naturally, she succeeds in her endeavor, and a chase ensues.  She attempts to shake him by cutting through the Goth-Ahm pet cemetary, and eventually does after knocking over one of the headstones, causing Batman to trip and lose Catwoman.  Slightly aggravated by this, Batman quickly departs.  But unbeknownst to anyone a spirit of some kind emerges from the destroyed headstone.  The next day, news was spread throughout Goth-Ahm about a large dog terrorizing random people.  Thinking there must be more to the story than that, Batman soon investigates.  After hours of searching for the supposed dog, he spots the royal guard pursuing a strange looking animal on the street below, and then follows, thinking it could be the dog.  His guess turns out to be right, as the animal is soon cornered.  The guardsmen move in, prepared to kill it if necessary, but before they get close enough, the dog seems to notice Batman on a nearby rooftop.  It's eyes glow a ghostly white, and suddenly both Batman and the dog are transported to an abandoned building several streets over.  Batman wonders what just happened...and to his surprise, the dog answers his question!  He states that his name is Esumaru, an ancient servant of the Watanabe family, who swore loyalty even in death.  He then explains that the headstone in the cemetary was his, and by removing it from his grave, his spirit was released.  Upon being released, he began to seek out any living member of the Watanabe family.  Because of his super-accute sense of smell, Esumaru was immediately able to determine that Batman was a Watanabe.  He then vows to serve Batman in any way he can, which Batman trie to politely refuse, but to no avail.

Prank: Warui Yumoa-A teenage orphan boy who would constantly play practical jokes on the people of Goth-Ahm.  And while his pranks were very elaborate and somewhat creative, he couldn't help but leave a very obvious calling card every time, and was constantly caught  and punished by the royal guard.  One night, while wandering the streets, he heard someone calling his name.  Unfortunately, that someone was none other than the Joker!  Paralyzed with fear, Warui could only stand there, still as a statue, as Joker stated that they had something in common.  As stated by Joker, they were both  "misunderstood"  and  "unappreciated"  for the work they do.  It was then that an idea formed in Joker's twisted mind.  He offered to take the boy in as his apprentice, which Warui accepted in both excitement, and in fear of what Joker would do to him if he refused.  After donning what Joker referred as the "appropriate attire"  Warui was then christened Joker's "offical" apprentice, and given the name Prank.

Zebra-Man Brothers:  Shiro & Kuro Shimauma-If you need to hire a professional ninjas to carry out a dangerous task...then these are the last people you want to consider.  Twins Shiro and Kuro Shimauma, also known as the Zebra-Man Brothers, might seem intimidating, but they're usually so busy arguing with each other that they completely forget about the task at hand.  But that doesn't mean that they're completely incompitant, because when they do focus, they can be quite deadly.  Both brothers' bodies are decorated with zebra-pattern tattoos(Shiro's body is white with black zebra stripes, while Kuro's is black with white stripes), and by channeling energy through their tattoos, they are able to create a dizzying vertigo effect.  Also, when in close proximity of each other, the brothers can create enough energy to use a special magnetic technique, which attracts and repels anything accept metal.

Notes:
-The reports of Esumaru "terrorizing" the people of Goth-Ahm were greatly exaggerated.  He simply examined them to determine wether or not they were members of the Watanabe family, but otherwise left them alone.
-Not only can Esumaru's sense of smell discern one person from another, it can also track the scent of demons and other supernatural beings.
-While Esumaru prefers to be addressed as Batman's partner, most people(including Goth-Ahm's criminals) often refer to him as Batman's pet, much to Esumaru's displeasure.
-Harley Quinn treats Prank more like an adopted son than an apprentice.  Joker, on the other hand, gets bored of the boy mere days after taking him in, and contemplates killing him just for the fun of it.
-The Zebra-Man Brothers are not immune to the vertigo effect of their tattoos, and this weakness is often exploited to defeat them.

Easy Company(based on Section 9 from Ghost in the Shell):
At an unknown point in the distant future, law enforcement has undergone a major upgrade in order to more effectively combat increasing criminal activity.  A prime example is the cybernetically enhanced Easy Company, a unit of the national police force of the United States.  It's members include:

Sergeant Francine "Frank" Rock(based on Motoko Kusanagi)-Easy Company's field commander.  Most of her body is mechanical, due to an accident at an abandoned steel mill, which left her nearly completely incapacitated.  She usually tries to settle things nonviolently, but will do whatever is necessary to ensure the success of Easy Company's missions.

Horace "Bulldozer" Canfield(based on Batou)-Rock's second-in-command, and most trusted friend.  His arms are cybernetically augmented, making him strong enough to lift 100 times his own weight.  He is known to be quick to anger, especially with people he doesn't trust.

Harold "Wildman" Shapiro(based on Ishikawa)-A master tactition & information warfare expert.  His brain is partially computerized, and thus is able to hold vast amounts of information.  Unforunately, it has a tendency to overheat , which causes him to go into a blind rage, but he is normally very calm and easygoing.

Phillip "Ice Cream" Mason(based on Togusa)-While he doesn't possess any signifigant cybernetic enhancements, he is nonetheless a capable soldier, and is able to withstand temperatures too cold for most people.  He is also the most calm-minded member of Easy Company, and has a weakness for frozen desserts.

Louis "Sure Shot" Kiyahani(based on Saito)-A full-blooded Apache and an expert sniper.  He has a robotic left eye, which he uses to increase the accuracy of his shooting.  He is incredibly proud of his Indian ancestry, and often decorates his weapons with feathers.

Haunted Tanks(based on the Tachikomas)-Robotic tanks that serve as Easy Company's main source of vehicular combat.  They can also operate autonomously, but the only Tank that shows any "personality" is one that the members of Easy Company nicknamed "Jed."

Jake Johnson(based on the generic androids from Big O)*-A completely robotic soldier that usually follows orders to the letter.  However, a "flaw" in his programming occasionally causes him to go against his orders to find an alternative solution.  He has a miniature sub-machine gun in his right arm, and rockets in his boots that allow him to fly over short distances.  When a mission requires him to be inconspicuous, he usually wears a synthetic face that resembles an African-American man.

Occasionally, Easy Company finds themselves at odds with:

Enemy Ace:  Jonathan Jacob Hammerschmitt-An ace pilot of the German National Police.  He pilots a personalized aircraft called the Messerschmitt, which can transform into a small mech suit(based on the Variable Fighters from Macross).  Despite his loyalty to his country and sense of honor, he seems to operate on his own agenda, much to the chagrin of his peers.

*-Jake Johnson is an amalgamation of the GI Robot, and Easy Company member Jackie Johnson.
